I guess I just really don’t like Colleen Hoover’s characters. If you read Confess and enjoyed it, I’m here to say that this is my opinion of viewing this book. Aubrey and Owen are just…i don’t know…they don’t stand up for themselves. There’s still so much I haven’t talked about, so stop telling me that I shouldn’t have spoiled the story because I didn’t. And he uses his position to bully Owe, etc. (what a creep) Trey is a cop who hates Owen.

Trey the dead ex’s brother wants the kid and Aubrey too. So Lydia the grandma of AJ wants the kid all to herself. Then why the fuck did you have so many children? And she also says in book that her family can barely support all the kids. She herself is the product of high school pregnancy. You need to have some plans first!īesides, Aubrey has four other siblings. People please!!! Use protection! Raising a kid take a lot of money. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, she got pregnant at 15. We then find out that Aubrey has a son called AJ who is 4. The stupidity of the characters in this book was so high that I was afraid I might become stupid after I finished this book.

That don’t know each other! Would you take someone whom you only met once or twice back to your apartment and let them crash there because they’re drunk? Owen takes Aubrey back to his apartment and lets her sleep in his bed. The second time Aubrey meets Owen is when she’s trying to get drunk in the bar because that day is her birthday and Lydia (her dead ex’s mother) doesn’t show up as planned. (but she never does through out this book) They talk a bit and then she decides to work for him at his studio. She knows how to keep your eyes glued onto the pages.Īubrey Mason Reed meets Owen Mason Gentry at his studio while she’s reading people’s horrible anonymous confessions. The writing was alright because it’s Colleen Hoover.
